Cardiff Castle Concerts Summer 2024

Cardiff Castle have an exciting programme of summer concerts this year. Here are the dates and acts appearing at the Castle:

Bus stop changes & diversions

On the above dates, Castle Street between Westgate Street and Kingsway will be closed from 21:00 to last bus, resulting in diversions to services 9, 21, 23, 27, 44/45, 49/50, 52, 57/58 and 27/28 as follows:

9 towards Sports Village Friday & Saturday night only: buses will divert through the city centre via Station Terrace stopping at Queen Street Station, Bute Terrace (stopping at Radisson Blu hotel stop on Bute Terrace), then run to Grangetown via Callaghan Square and Penarth Road. This means bus stops at Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway, Westgate Street, Tudor Street and Clare Road not being served. In the city centre please use Radisson Blu bus stop on Bute Terrace instead of Westgate Street KG or Wood Street stop JR.    For all other nights of the week, buses will follow their normal route.

Towards City Centre & Heath Hospital Friday & Saturday night only buses will follow their normal Friday/Saturday night diversionary route via Penarth Road and Bute Terrace. For all other nights of the week, buses will follow their normal route.

21, 23 & 27: buses will start and end from Greyfriars Road (north side - stop GL near to the New Theatre). Bus stops at Westgate Street and Kingsway will not be served.

44/45 & 49/50 on all above dates except for Friday & Saturday nights: buses will start and end from Westgate Street - Royal Hotel. Bus stops at Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway and Castle Street will not be served.

44/45 & 49/50 on Friday & Saturday nights: buses will start from Bute Terrace (rear of John Lewis), not serving Greyfriars Road, Kingsway, Castle Street or Westgate Street.

52 & 57/58 on all above dates except for Friday & Saturday nights: buses will start and end from Lower St Mary Street - Wyndham Arcade. Bus stops at Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway and Castle Street will not be served.

52 & 57/58 on Friday & Saturday nights: buses will start from Customhouse Street (rear of John Lewis), not serving Greyfriars Road, Kingsway, Castle Street or Westgate Street.

Journeys on routes 11 and 28 to the city centre will divert via Station Terrace, Bute Terrace (calling at Radisson Blu hotel stop on Bute Terrace),
